Lughnasadh Lammas Candle July 31st - August 1st Crystal Infused Candle Herb Infused Candle

$37.99

Celebrated on July 31st through August 1, Lammas marks the beginning of the end of summer. This is the first of three harvest festivals. Lammas is the time of “first fruits” and is the time of year when harvesting, rather than planting or tending, becomes the main focus. Produce is plenty, and the days are warm, yet we are experiencing the loss and fading of the light as the days get shorter.

This brown candle is embedded with citrine and heather. The scent is a combination of coriander, Amyris, sandalwood, amber. Brown is the color of soil, representing fertility and the earth. Citrine is an extremely positive stone. It does not hold negative energy but dissipates and transmutes it. Citrine promotes radiance from within the self and brightens even the darkest corner of one’s perceived reality. Heather represents acceptance, love, and protection.

Meditation: We rejoice in the first harvest, gathering the seeds of our soul and reflecting on the intentions we have sown throughout the year.

Overall description. Coconut/Apricot wax candle hand-poured into a 12-ounce glass container. Burn time 30 hours. Each candle is dedicated to a Wiccan holiday with a suggested meditation. Handcrafted in Eugene, Oregon, candles have a wooden wick and are offered scented or unscented. Each candle is hand-mixed and hand-poured with love and care, incorporating principles of Wicca, aromatherapy, crystal energy, and color magic. As with all handcrafted products, slight variations in appearance may occur from the candle pictured. Candles are offered without a scent for those of you who have sensitivity.

Candle magic illuminates your intention and releases it out into the universe.

My candles are infused with herbs, crystals, and a meditation script to help you focus your energy. A simple spell to use with this candle is to start by creating a space that is quiet, comfortable, and safe. Visualize your intention and read the meditation as you light the candle. Stare at the flame and continue to send your intent into the light. You can sit in front of it for as long as you like. When ready, close your candle ritual with words of gratitude and a positive affirmation. Let your candle burn as much as needed, making sure you extinguish it before you leave.

Please remember that while powerful, candle magic and intention do not manifest immediate results. Whatever magical ceremony or ritual you decide to perform is simply the messenger whose purpose is to deliver your goals into the arms of the universe—nothing more. You still have to show the cosmos that you are willing to do the work needed to reach your goal.

Candle symbology

A candle embodies the five elements: earth, water, air, fire, and spirit. The wick is earth and keeps the flame constant. The wax, which transforms from a solid to a liquid and then to gas, emulates water’s transmutation properties. Oxygen, archetypal of air, is crucial for keeping the flame lit. The flame is a direct connection to fire, the element of transformation, and rebirth. The fifth element, spirit, is within us and manifests when our intention is placed into the candle and infuses it with our soul.
