Hecate Greek Goddess of Witchcraft, Magick Ritual Candle

Greek Goddess Hecate is the Crone aspect of the Triple Goddess. She is associated with the crossroads, a place of spiritual wisdom and intuitive Magick. With her in-depth knowledge and power, Hecate shows us that the feminine is valued for itself. It is more than sexuality or power; it is an essence and an essential part of the cosmos. She teaches her followers the paths of the Witch.

She is depicted with a torch bringing light and wisdom to the world, keys to open the gates between the worlds, access the hidden knowledge beyond, and a knife to sever the cord as a midwife at birth and detach the body from its life force at death.

This dark purple candle is embedded with elder bark, ash, yew, and citrine. The scent is a combination of sandalwood, lemon, ginger, and saffron. Dark purple is associated with spirituality and the third eye. From ancient times the elder tree has been considered highly sacred with a spirit known as the Elder Mother or the Crone. The yew is sacred to Hecate and represents old Magick and transformation. The Ash tree holds the key to Universal Truth and Cosmic Wisdom. Citrine promotes radiance from within the self and brightens even the darkest corner of one’s perceived reality.
